Haras De La Haie Neuve's first-season sire Seahenge (by Scat Daddy) is off the mark after his daughter Between (Fr) captured the juvenile contest at Nantes on Thursday.

BETWEEN (FR) (f, 2, Seahenge–Claire Song {Ire} {MSP-Ity, $100,843}, by Singspiel {Ire}), fifth on debut over six furlongs at Saint-Cloud May 17, broke well to track the leading duo early. Delivered to the front passing the furlong pole, the 21-10 favourite was green in the clear but stayed on to score by 4 1/2 lengths from Mrs Pink (Fr) (Recorder {GB}). In doing, she was providing Haras De La Haie Neuve's first-season sire (by Scat Daddy) with his first winner.
